Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the apartment, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens. Ensure that all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and appliances are properly cleaned, sanitized, and presentable.
Change bed linens, towels, and other linens according to established procedures. Ensure all linens are clean, fresh, and properly arranged.
Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and amenities to ensure they are always available for guests. Keep track of inventory and promptly report any shortages or needs.
Observe and report any maintenance or repair issues in the apartment. Communicate these issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
Adhere to established health and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Provide a professional and friendly interaction with guests when necessary, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.
Manage your time efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within the allocated time frame. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and guest arrival and departure schedules.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications
Senior School Leaving Certificate
Prior experience in cleaning, preferably in a hospitality or residential setting.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Familiarity with cleaning products and their proper usage.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, based on guest bookings.
