Job Description

• We are seeking highly motivated and reliable cleaners to join our team and maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of our short-let apartments.


• As a cleaner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience by creating a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.


• Your attention to detail and exceptional cleaning skills will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the apartment, including bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and kitchens. Ensure that all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and appliances are properly cleaned, sanitized, and presentable.


• Change bed linens, towels, and other linens according to established procedures. Ensure all linens are clean, fresh, and properly arranged.


• Monitor and replenish supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and amenities to ensure they are always available for guests. Keep track of inventory and promptly report any shortages or needs.


• Observe and report any maintenance or repair issues in the apartment. Communicate these issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.


• Adhere to established health and safety protocols, including proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals, use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


• Provide a professional and friendly interaction with guests when necessary, ensuring their needs are met, and addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have.


• Manage your time efficiently to complete cleaning tasks within the allocated time frame. Prioritize tasks based on urgency and guest arrival and departure schedules.


• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Senior School Leaving Certificate


• Prior experience in cleaning, preferably in a hospitality or residential setting.


• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.


• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


• Familiarity with cleaning products and their proper usage.


• Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.


• Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, based on guest bookings.
