Job Description



  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations and ensure the efficiency of storeroom.

  • Raise requisitions to replenish items whenever stock level approaches the reorder level.

  • Ensure efficient space utilization and adhere to the storage design principles.

  • Adhere to the principles of FIFO/FEFO for the receipt of incoming supplies.

  • Monitor the usable life of stock items and inform the Line Manager of near expiry goods and withdraw and record expired products.

  • Develop and implement efficient storeroom layout and design that consider the product flow and handling systems.

  • Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and disbursement of goods.

  • Implement a physical classification system of all items in the store and ensure supplies are arranged in pre-allocated shelves/palets for ease of access.

  • Receive and inspect incoming supplies and reconcile against the issued/delivery log.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs and prepare reports as required.

  • Periodically collate requisitions from the parties involved and forward to the appropriate personnel.

  • Track damages, discrepancies, over/undersupply of orders from the warehouse/suppliers.

  • Record receipt of all supplies from the warehouse and suppliers in the receipt log.


Requirements



  • Minimum of OND in Business Administration or any related discipline

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in storekeeping and inventory control.

  • Experience working with an ERP inventory system, particularly Oddo.

  • Familiarity with standard storekeeping concept and practices.

  • Possess ability to handle/lift heavy items and offload/load supplies.
