Job Summary

• Carry out material inspection and generate MRIR


• Ensure seamless material movement from stackyard to project locations


• Segregate materials and mark them up for proper identification and traceability


• Prepares detailed manifest for materials for distribution


• Prepares and send weekly material status of inventory in stackyard

Responsibilities

• Prepare material requirements as directed by Material coordinator for onward movement to project sites.


•  Co-ordinate with site materials team  for arranging materials


•  Keep track of shipments sent to project locations 


•  Verification of all the material dispatch / receipts, etc


• Preparation of various inventory reports to meet project /construction need as well as periodical requirements.


• Liaise with logistics supervisor for planned movement of materials to designated project storage areas


• Ensures materials are properly stored and preserved as per manufactures specification


• Ensure that the Material orders, Receipts, etc manifests are in order with the actual material.


• Frequent day-to-day contact with Logistics Supervisor for coordinating material planning tasks as directed. 


• Thinking within clearly defined company policies, though contributing to the development of these.


•  Focus both on day-to-day operational problem solving and on how best to structure the services to meet demands most efficiently and effectively


• Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Any other duty that may be assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administrations. 


• Membership of any MM or SCM related professional body e.g. CIWMM, CIPS, will be an added advantage


• 3 + years' experience in materials management or indirect category management.


• Use of ERP (SAP knowledge will be an added advantage)
