Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
Develop recommendations to optimize company's accounting systems and procedures and detect inaccuracies
Review and analyze financial data and create timely reports on financial status based on the analysis results for Management’s review
Create strategic business plans based on the analysis of the company’s status and financial forecasts, strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions
Audit, supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, oversee tax (both internal and external) and tax returns, ensuring accounting procedures comply with IFRS standards and all other statutory requirements
Review, monitor, and manage budget
Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization
Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions) prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure
Increase company revenues and boost profits
Supervise junior accountants
All other duties as assigned by Management
Requirement:
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as Accountant
Degree in finance/accounting or related field
Professional finance certification
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Adequate knowlege of IFRS
Knowledge of Tax laws
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Good experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Excellent report-writing and communication skills
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge of financial reporting, data mining & statistical analysis tools, SAP, and other accounting software
