Duties & Responsibilities
- Align resource management (manpower and asset) strategy with business strategy across different business activities.
- Anticipate emerging transport operations parameters to determine future resource requirements.
- Communicate the importance of achieving transportation operation timeframe outcomes with efficient use of resources.
- Communicate key messages resulting from transport operation issues to key stakeholders.
- Formulate vehicle fleet management strategy across different plans.
- Identify strategic priorities of each specific transport link in the development of plans.
- Manage overall transportation operations and customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Review better ways to approach problems through reorganizing the problem information.
- Review incident or crisis management plans to mitigate gaps.
Requirements
- HND / BA / BSc qualification.
- Minimum 5 years in transport & logistics space as Operations Supervisor/Coordinator/Manager.
- Good communication skills (writing & speaking)
- Able to deliver positive results under pressure and manage difficult situations.
- Customer-centric skills.
- Proactive and team player.
- Computer literacy.
