Skills and Abilities:  

• Must have good exposure to Surgical and Non-surgical Specialties and be capable of carrying out minor Surgical procedures and deliveries


• Must be able to perform primary care procedures, and have emergency response skills such as intubation of patients, IV insertion, ability to perform CPR, etc.


• Must be comfortable caring for patients of all ages.


• Must be sensitive to needs and feelings of the patients and be approachable and personable in order to obtain and maintain the trust and confidence of employees and dependents.


• Specialization or additional formal training will be an added advantage.

Qualifications and Experience

• MBBS with valid registration with the medical and dental council of Nigeria


• General practice physician with relevant experience in the management of trauma, medical emergencies, pediatric, cases, gynecological cases etc.


• At least 5 years post NYSC experience.


• Demonstration of high level skill with interpersonal relationships and communications.


• Excellent interpersonal and management skills.


• Good diagnostic acumen and sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practice.


• Strong services philosophy and leadership skills.

Hours of duty 8:00am to 5:00pm. Call duty will be paid as appropriate.
