The organization currently seeks highly skilled and well-motivated team players for employment as staff writers. Prospective candidates should be able to source for stories using available resources, write independently and also work in a team. The ideal candidate is expected to be able to build and maintain contacts as well as use social media to find stories and develop the same for our esteemed readership audience.

Such a person will primarily be responsible for copy editing and ensuring stories fit perfectly into the house style.

Requirements

• Significant experience in news writing and reporting, with good news judgment, discipline and speed. It is preferred that candidates possess proficiency in modern, digital journalism and be conversant with online journalism.


• Experience in a similar role(s) will be an added advantage.
