Sigma Consulting Group is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our client’s team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and excellent analytical skills.


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and maintain financial records, statements, and reports

  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions

  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and receivable

  • Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial activities


Requirements:



  • Proven work experience as an Accountant

  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus
