Job Responsibilities

• Operate all the equipments in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.


• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on machinery.


• Conduct pre-operational checks on all equipments and clean, lubricate and refill equipment as scheduled and/or required.


• Ensure all equipments are safely and securely positioned.


• Participate in routine maintenance of the Machineries.


• Practice workplace safety.


• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.


• Have a checklist on the equipments on a daily basis and report any anomaly.


• Keep updated records of activity logs.


• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.


• Conduct periodic checks on output efficiency.

Job Requirements

• OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 5 years proven experience in handling equipments such as Buldozers, Payloaders, Excavators, Dredgers etc.


• Relevant certification in the field will be an added advantage.


• Sound technical skills and ability to fix problems with any type of machinery.


• Knowledge of maintaining and upgrading different machines.


• Knowledge of safe machine practice standards.


• Adherence to health and safety regulations.


• Strong attention to details.


• Teamwork and communication skills.


• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
