Roles and Responsibilities

• To work as shift In-Charge of Electrical Maintenance section of steel melting shop


• Maintain the daily log book/history book/ ISO Records


• Maintenance of induction melting furnace panels (Preferably M/s Electrotherm make) and trouble shooting


• Maintenance of EOT cranes, follow preventive maintenance practices on a day-to-day basis


• Maintenance of the continuous casting machine including the utilities


• Manage/Maintain the power system as well as the emergency power during power failure


• Maintenance of the pump house motors


• Maintenance of AC motors, magnet panels of EOT crane


• Maintenance of AC drives, field devices


• Familiar with pollution control systems, vibro-feeders, ladle transfer cars, poker


• Will maintain the safety devices for the crane, induction furnaces, pollution systems


• Follow the safety standards/ precautions/practices during breakdown / shutdown jobs

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields.
