Inspect mechanical components of diesel vehicles and diagnose issues accurately
Use manual, computerized diagnostic or both methods to identify potential problems on diesel engines and interpret the results to offer suitable solutions
Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
Conduct routine maintenance on the vehicle
Conduct major repair on vehicle
Repair or replace damaged or dysfunctional electrical parts
Maintain equipment and tools of the organization in good condition
Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
Other Requirements
Automotive Mechanical education and training
Technical College and Vocational school(LASTVEB) certification
5 - 7 years experience as an Auto Mechanic (Diesel Engine)in a transport and logistics company.
Experience in troubleshooting and fixing automobile diesel engine faults on Toyota Hiace, Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200 and Ford vehicles.
