Job Description

• Provides work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff i.e., forms for concrete pours, anchor bolts, piping hangers and supports, etc.


• Review digital survey information, field notes and sketches to determine what the information is indicating and what approach needs to be taken to create a comprehensive plan.


• Review, organize and plan the survey schedule to ensure surveys are completed on-time project records, vehicle operation and maintenance records.


• Reviews completed work to assure that survey complies with all applicable Professional, Federal, State, and Local/regulations.


• Develops maps and relational database to produce updates mapping, including, photo imagery, topography, floodplains, airfield pavements and features, roadway and transportation features, environmental features and infrastructure.


• Read, utilize and interpret design drawings and topographic maps.


• Study, learn and interpret CAD computer applications.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Sc qualification.


• Minimum of Five (5) years experience in boundary, topographic and construction surveys, design surveys, subdivision plats, water rights surveys, horizontal and vertical control networks for aerials and GPS surveys.


• Must be proficient in the use of computer and CAD, Trimble Software, GPS Total Station, Robotics, AutoCAD and Land Development Desktop.


• Must have strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, be self-directed with good verbal and written communication skills.
