Key Responsibilities (Summary)

• Apply the necessary pilot flavours/fragrances for the development of the flavours/fragrances, if applicable.


• Prepare all the application samples that must be sent, according to the Sample Note from the Commercial Department.


• Organoleptic control of the flavours/fragrances. Identify non-conforming products for improvements.


• Resolve technical problems arising from the application of flavours/fragrances.


• Confirm the stability of the applications of flavours/fragrances applied.


• Keep the database and records of the department updated.


• Maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and instruments.


• Keep the application formulas up to date, in all versions.


• Order and location of the applications and aromas used.


• Support to the Depts. R&D, Samples and/or Quality Control.

Education / Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry or a related field.


• 2-3 years in a similar position.

Others:

• Knowledge of quality control methods.


• Experience in fragrance (perfume industry), beverage industry and FMCG.


• Basic knowledge of the making of confectioneries, beverages and pastries is an added advantage.

Other Requirements:

• Mastery of computer tools and spreadsheets.


• Female for gender balance.
