Functional Responsibilities
- Developing procurement strategies that are cost-effective.
- Sourcing, engaging, building and maintaining long-term relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Reviewing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Overseeing and managing the inventory of goods to serve the hotel and other businesses.
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
Job Objective / Purpose of Job
- Responsible for overseeing expediting the receiving, warehousing, distribution operations, security and maintenance of the facility and ensuring efficient, organized storage.
- Manages the company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain, strategizes and negotiates with suppliers and vendors to get the most cost-effective deals and to reduce procurement expenses.
Reporting Relationships:
- Functionally Reports To: Managing Director
- Administratively Reports To: Operations Manager
- Supervises: Sales Manager, Procurement Officer, Account Officer.
Working Relationships:
- Internal All staff
- External: Vendors, suppliers and other external stakeholders.
