  • Actively provide corporate/commercial legal advice for the Group and its subsidiary companies to support their operations.

  • Work as team lead at a Senior Executive level to guide the team in accordance with Group corporate goals and objectives; to meet deliverables and maintain their KPIs actively – daily, weekly, monthly, and annually.

  • Drafting of contracts and Service Level Agreements for the Group and respective subsidiary companies.

  • Carry out all pre and post-incorporation assignments at CAC ensuring that Company documents are valid and up to date to meet all statutory requirements.

  • To monitor and ensure annual returns are filed timely with the CAC for all companies.

  • To actively participate in business engagements where legal matters, constitutional matters, and regulatory matters are a concern, this may involve attending meetings on behalf of the Group of companies or maybe in the form of advisory where memos or other print or electronic materials may suffice.

  • Review of existing Service Level Agreement to ensure compliance from the company and the clients.

  • Ensure company SLAs are stored safely and in a manner that provides easy retrieval.

  • Writing correspondences to clients on behalf of the company.

  • Provide support to the Debt Recovery Unit of the Finance Department in the recovery of debts from clients.

  • Perform due diligence review on various documents, not limited to property documents, ground leases, tenements, and title deeds with a high level of detail.

  • Be flexible, forward, and direct in relating with customer legal units, agencies, and parastatals where legal inputs are required.

  • Manage legal and regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and enterprise risk management.

  • Handle all litigation issues that involve the company or anyone acting on behalf of the company.

  • Must be familiar with the Nigeria Laws and their application; including labor law.

  • Participate in contract law as it relates to our international clients, vendors, distributors, or vendors.

  • Perform company secretarial duties and other duties incidental to the position.
