Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.
- As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, compiling, documenting, organizing, presenting, and managing data to identify trends and patterns.
- Your role will involve making recommendations for business actions, client relationship management activities, and project management tasks assigned by senior team members.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization.
- Gathering business intelligence from various sources, including company data, industry reports, public information, and purchased sources.
- Assessing market strategies by analyzing related products, sales, and market trends.
- Conducting market research to identify target markets and technology trends.
- Utilizing business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor current and potential customers.
- Compiling and analyzing business intelligence to support actionable recommendations.
- Identifying areas for operational improvement and streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry and business trends through engagement with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
- Summarizing financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assisting in client and vendor onboarding/registration activities.
- Writing bids and preparing tender submissions.
- Performing quality assurance and quality control on processes and procedures to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Assisting in project management activities.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Membership in ACCA, NIM, NIMN, ACA, NSE, CIB, ACIA, ICSAN, or other relevant professional bodies.
- Proven experience with programming for data analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power BI, Access, or related software.
- Ability to handle databases and understand technology-driven business intelligence tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and facilitative skills.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, organizing, and analytical skills.
