Job Responsibilities:

• Develop technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals


• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage


• Creating and Managing [groups] companys network & cyber security strategies. Ensure regular tests and updates are carried out on all cyber defense layers.


• Help departments use technology profitably


• Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency


• Build quality assurance and data protection processes. Must be familiar with GDPR and NDPR compliance requirements. A prior experience of setting up data privacy policies and compliance is required for this role.


• Create and manage KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance


• Use stakeholders feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology


• Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors


• Sound technical and working knowledge of e-Commerce, Data Quality and Analytics platforms.


• Good administrative experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Power Platform.


• Comprehensive knowledge of various Cloud Platforms and technologies especially with Microsoft Azure.


• Quality System Management - Responsible for the full implementation of the requirements of Quality Management System within the IT department; ensure that all team members are equally up to date on all the requirements as may be appropriate for their functions.


• Managing the Microsoft Dynamics ERP implementation.


• Managing the data management and consolidation systems. Innovating and introducing new technologies to consolidate business intelligence systems.


• Ensuring highest uptime on company wide connectivity, online and offline systems, all support functions in Lagos and outstation cities for the group using ITSM.

Required Qualifications:

• 10-15 years of experience out of which minimum 3 years should be in a similar role.


• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus but not mandatory.


• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience with Microsoft M365 & Azure platform.


• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Business Central ERP systems.


• Proven track record on working with data management system, BI systems, Data lakes/warehouse and OLAP.


• Exposure to Linux operating system is good to have.


• Strong exposure to firewalls and various cyber security trends like single sign on, zero trust security, malware/spyware/ransomware protection.


• Ability to work under pressure environments with deadlines.


• Prior knowledge and experience of working with industry standard ITSM system.


• Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role


• Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy


• Understanding of budgets and business-planning


• Ability to conduct technological analyses and research


• Excellent communication skills

• Must have experience managing a team of at least 15 people comprising of network engineers, data privacy & Cyber security professionals, data scientists and analysts.
