Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Core Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's core infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and security devices.


• Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the company's core infrastructure.


• Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.


• Provide technical support to users.


• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies.


• Collaborate on projects to improve implementation and design.


• Assess current systems to ensure best practices and compliance.


• Manage the host environment, ensuring proper tuning and capacity.


• Share knowledge across the organization and contribute to company projects.


• Manage computer system security and inter-application information transfers.


• Demonstrate competency in infrastructure automation.

Competencies:

• Extensive experience with IT infrastructure technologies, including firewalls, switches, virtualization, servers, storage, networking, security, and software development.


• Proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.


• Familiarity with Fortigate Firewalls, Supermicro Switches, and other relevant infrastructure tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Core Infrastructure Engineer role.
