Job Summary



  • The SP & VM Service Specialist has the primary responsibility to manage Oilserv supplier base in order to build relationship with the existing supplier.

  • Monitor and ensure only qualified and competent suppliers are used to carry out all procurement activities for the organization

  • Carry out data analytics to aid decision making on suppliers and suppliers base.

  • Plan and facilitate performance evaluation and categorization of Oilserv Group Suppliers

  • This position also requires a close working relationship with the QAQC Team, Supply Chain and Suppliers (both existing and intending). The SP & VM Service Specialist reports to the Strategy & Performance Management Team Lead.


Responsibilities



  • Establish a continuous improvement process to enhance the Group's vendor/ supplier registration and prequalification checklist.

  • Conducts annual counterparty due diligence on select Oilserv's suppliers as part of suppliers' revalidation/ recertification process.

  • Develops and deploy periodic supplier performance review meetings for major suppliers and contractors.

  • Manage SCM SharePoint Portal, ensure that the team upload necessary documents

  • Involve in new vendor prequalification in liaison with key parties i.e. Line, QAQC, Users, etc

  • Manage and maintain Vendor Database and Vendor Registration process. 

  • Custodian of the central vendor registration portal.

  • Support reporting and implementation of compliance standards within the Oilserv Vendor Management framework

  • Assist produce tailored vendor portfolio reports for internal stakeholders

  • Review, analyse and process vendor data and monitor vendor spend against objectives and targets

  • Assist with organizing management, operational, and ad hoc meetings with internal and external stakeholder

  • Support the implementation of performance management and carry out analysis.

  • Any other duty as may be assigned by the management.

  • Ensure the use of codes of ethics in procurement and supply.


Requirements



  • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Engineering or any other qualification from a reputable Institution.

  • CIPS Level 4 Certification

  • 6-9 Years’ Experience in Procurement and suppliers' management
