The successful candidate will lift the profitbuyz.com B2B online marketplace offering to the next level, while at the same time working on the longer-term strategy and team development to impact on the success in the African region.


Core Responsibilities



  • Responsible for building and maintaining partnerships and creating joint value to drive business growth, including Developing and implementing the marketing strategy for the B2B Online marketplace ensuring that retail businesses use our platform for wholesale product sourcing.

  • Drive customer value proposition, engaging with key customers and developing better quality relationships.

  • New Customer Acquisition

  • To make daily sales calls, and promote the services, and solutions to the respective target clients/prospective customers as may be identified from time to time across the business line across the country and beyond.

  • To drive the commercial activities within the organization – focusing on market development and product/service availability that will meet the market expectations and beyond

  • Achieve budget and other financial goals and revenue targets.

  • Drive online traffic to our website

  • Cold calling and Negotiation skills

  • Accounts Management skills

  • Conversion of leads received from various marketing channels.

  • Preparing short-term and long-term marketing plans, sales approaches, and strategies.

  • Consistently achieve revenue targets in line with organizational objectives.


Do you have what it takes?



  • Proven experience in a sales Account Management role with in-depth exposure to digital channels ideally in an established international FMCG organization using online B2B/B2C

  • Proven people leadership exposure in a commercially driven, and learning-focused environment

  • Track record of delivering business growth through social media, websites, and sales promotional strategies.

  • Strong result orientation and collaboration skills with internal and external partners

  • Ability to handle complexity, and communicate effectively within those scenarios

  • Strong analytical skills, and a curiosity about data metrics with the ability to turn analysis into useful plans (Excel and PowerPoint proficiency is key here)

  • A resilience to deal with challenging customers, an ability to challenge, and collaborate with customers effectively Change orientated, and energy to take others with you.
