Description

• Coordinate daily R&A workshop activities and organize work schedules for all refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.


• Allocate subordinates for servicing, maintenance, and replacing of R&A equipment.


• Supervise subordinates to ensure jobs are carried out effectively.


• Provide daily information on completed work, work in progress, and pending jobs.


• Schedule quarterly preventive maintenance of R&A equipment.


• Supervise staff in air conditioning and refrigerating unit.


• Read sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.


• Monitor and update the inventory of spare parts.

Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATION:

• BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

COMPETENCIES:

The ideal candidate must:

• Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.


• Have a good working knowledge of the cooling system.


• Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.


• Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
