  • Our client, a fertilizer manufacturing company based in Abapka, Kaduna, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the Fertilizer Industry.

  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of bagging machines and product batching systems, along with proficiency in PLC, sensitive load cells, calibration, and troubleshooting.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical and instrumentation systems within the plant.


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in the fertilizer manufacturing plant.

  • Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Ensure the proper functioning of bagging machines and product batching systems.

  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks.

  • Conduct regular calibration of sensitive load cells and other instrumentation devices.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation equipment.

  • Monitor and analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports and records.

  • Comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Fertilizer Industry, with a focus on electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Proficiency in PLC programming, sensitive load cells, calibration techniques, and troubleshooting.

  • Strong knowledge of bagging machines and product batching systems.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to relocate to Abapka, Kaduna.
