Job Summary



  • Responsible for the efficient handling of all transactions leading to speedy delivery of investment banking deals and meeting specified financial/operational targets.


Key Functions/ Responsibilities



  • Provide Support to, Investment Banking in deal identification and origination

  • Actively identify and follow up on emerging market opportunities

  • Ensure that a structure/database for achieving the required Analytical/applied research input in the company’s corporate finance activities is achieved

  • Responsible for driving the process of developing capital-raising windows both locally and off-shore in line with the requirements of our target market

  • Responsible for the execution and management of secured mandates

  • Provide support to the Divisional Head in Strategic/Budgetary planning and execution

  • Supervise the preparation of status reports on a periodic basis

  • Assist the Head, Investment Banking to develop platforms that would facilitate capital raising activities both locally and off-shore based on target market definition

  • Perform any other responsibilities as directed by the Head, Investment Banking from time to time


Education



  • B.Sc. in Finance or business related fields

  • MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage

  • Professional Certifications such as CFA, ICAN etc.


Experience



  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience

  • Industry experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity
