Job Summary:


The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's business within the oil and gas industry. They will identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with clients. The role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas market, industry trends, and customer needs. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective business development strategies and achieve revenue targets.


Responsibilities:



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas industry to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.

  •  Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and strategic partnerships to facilitate business growth.

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their business objectives and providing solutions to meet their needs.

  • Lead the development and implementation of business development strategies, including sales and marketing plans, to achieve revenue targets.

  •  Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, highlighting the company's capabilities and value proposition.

  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and technical departments, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

  • Monitor and track business development activities, including sales pipelines, market trends, and customer feedback, and provide regular reports to management.

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance the company's visibility and identify new business opportunities.

  •  Stay updated on industry regulations, policies, and compliance requirements related to the oil and gas sector.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within the oil and gas industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of the oil and gas market, industry trends, and customer needs.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

  •  Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel as required for business meetings and industry events.
