Job Description
The role holder will be in charge of driving the commercial success of our business across all areas of operations. The role holder will also be responsible for developing and executing effective strategies to maximize profitability, achieve sales targets, and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role holder will lead and manage a team, build strong client relationships, and identify new business opportunities to expand our client’s market presence.
Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the commercial team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations, finance, and marketing, to align business objectives and drive overall company success.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess commercial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee contract negotiations and pricing strategies to optimize revenue and maintain profitability.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the Logistics/Trucking industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of the industry, including pricing, contracts, and negotiations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and optimize commercial strategies.
- Familiarity with market research and analysis techniques to identify market trends and capitalize on opportunities.
