Job Summary



  • The ideal candidate will have an ability tcreate and maintain an efficient system of operation tsupport the business needs.

  • Draw out smart and efficient structure that will promote cohesion and efficiency of Courier workforce and Haulage unit.

  • Ensure consignments and products are transported safely

  • Consistently meet or surpass delivery dates and timeline (deadline)

  • Develop and Manage Customer Centric Contingency Plan

  • Planning and optimizing delivery routes on daily basis

  • Management of courier tracking and scheduling

  • Clear analysis of courier unit performance on monthly basis

  • Ensure Efficient Tracking during delivery service treduce sabotage and fraud

  • The candidate should be comfortable multitasking and working cross-functionally with different business units.

  • The ideal candidate must have previous experience in related fields.


Responsibilities



  • Truck Maintenance and Reservations

  • 100% reduction of downtime of trucks in the workshop

  • Ensure aggressive Market drive for the courier business

  • Consistently meet and surpass targets as will be dictated by Management on regular basis.

  • Always suggest targets for sales and delivery officers on regular basis for motivation

  •  Ensure delivery vehicles and bikes are always in good condition by following up on maintenance unit testablish regular vehicles servicing

  • Management of fleet courier

  • Prepare annual performance review of the unit and re-evaluate processes

  • Manage budget talign with goals of business

  • Work with Admin tensure insurance coverage for consignments always


Qualifications



  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

  • Professional Certification in Mechanical Engineering or Transport Management MBA is an added advantage)


Required Skills



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • People Management skill

  • Strong Analytical skill

  • Strong ability tmultitask

  • Excel Acumen and Administration Management (very key)

  • Must be Mechanically inclined with related Job experience in active or passive employment
