Job Description

• Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical treatment for various illnesses and injuries. Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal statutes. Ensure that patient care and is optimal and is in adherence to the clinical guidelines and quality standards.


• Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedure.


• Performing inpatient and outpatient review with initial assessment and management. Supervise other clinical staff to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Evaluate the effectiveness of current care methods and procedures and suggest improvements Minor medical, surgical and procedure.


• General administration of duties as regards patients’ welfare


• Exhibits high degree of responsibility for confidential matters.


• Provide oversight, training and development to medical staff


• Maintains working knowledge of the medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, and Hospital policies.


• Ensuring quality and quantity services at all times.


• Identifying, analyzing, evaluating and reporting quality improvement initiatives Oversees the development of departmental policies and procedures


• Review and understanding of client/patient expectation.


• Promote and maintain harmonious and effective relationship and communication between the medical department and other departments.


• Any other assignment from higher authority

Requirements

• Must have 5-8 years work experinece as a Senior Medical Officer


• Reside in Lagos


• Must have the ability to play a managerial role (Managing the Clinical Team)
