We are looking for Fibre Splicing Engineers around Lekki / Ajah, Lagos who are proficient in fibre optic splicing, termination, troubleshooting and other related daily duties in our engineering department.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cable installation, construction, maintenance and repair works.


• Possess knowledge in all types of splicing activity, cable and safety test equipment and use of all types of cable construction equipment.


• Locate and repair cables faults to maintain existing cable network without causing signal failure interruptions.


• Validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network.


• Confirm accurate cable terminations on cross connect, patch panels, hubs and routers.


• Understand construction prints and splice schematics.


• Maintain safe and secure work environment by complying with Government standards and legal regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of HND / University Degree in Engineering or closely related field.


• 2-3 years of experience in the Telecommunication industry is essential.


• In-depth knowledge of fibre optic networks, installation techniques, and testing procedures.


• Proficient in fibre optic splicing, termination, and troubleshooting.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and meet project deadlines.


• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to fibre optic installation.


• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.


• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.


• Must reside around Lekki / Ajah, Lagos State.
