Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL Pensions) is a joint venture between First Securities Discount House Limited (FSDH) (now known as FSDH Merchant Bank) and African Alliance Insurance Company. PAL Pensions is a licensed Pension Fund Administrator with over 15 years of professional experience in Pension Funds Administration. As part of initiatives to enhance its capacity in achieving its objectives, PAL seeks to recruit a dynamic, passionate and resourceful professional to fill the position of Compensation and Benefit Executive.


Job Responsibilities:



  • Implement approved procedures, practices and plans with respect to Employee reward and compensation, staff welfare, and other HR related matters.

  • Management of salary administration/ statutory payments.

  • Annual compensation review, and compensation cost analysis.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure staff salaries and periodic allowances such as Medicals are paid as at when due.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to analyse the cost implications of salary and benefits, and to implement approved compensation plans.

  • Creation and improvement of salary, benefit and bonus systems.

  • Ensure compliance with internal/external regulator guidelines, procedures and practices for executing responsibilities and tasks such that there are no queries or penalties.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to automate the process for tracking and monitoring employees to ensure requirements for probation are fulfilled 1 week before completion of the probation period.

  • Keep abreast with new trend and best practice in the field.

  • Good knowledge of other HR functions.


Requirements:



  • Should possess a minimum educational qualification of a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in related fields.

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years Compensation and Benefit experience from a Financial Services Institution or well-structured organisation.

  • Human Resources Analytic skills.

  • Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices.

  • Analytical with strong quantitative data collection skills.

  • Must be customer-centric and service-orientated.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive and responsive in a fast-moving & dynamic environment.

  • Strong Stakeholder management skills.

  • Good presentation and negotiation skills.
