Nextier Capital Limited seeks a highly motivated, organised, and insightful Senior Policy and Energy Analyst to support the firm in developing sustainable energy solutions and provide policy coordination for investors, government, development agencies, and developers. We need someone comfortable interacting and building relationships with new and existing clients at all organisational levels. As a Senior Analyst, you will collaborate with consultants to mentor junior team members and share knowledge and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyse energy data, policies, and programs and produce professional consultancy reports for Nextier’s key clients.


• Work closely with our clients to provide consultancy and market knowledge about the sector.


• Support in developing project scope, support, execute, and coordinate programs and projects.


• Support the project team in executing and developing project direction and dissemination.


• Develop policy briefs, proposals, and concept papers.


• Support in business development, bid tendering, and project management.


• Public relations between Nextier, relevant consultants, and sector operators on relevant projects and dialogues.


• Look out for possible portfolios within the market for expansion.


• Research industry aspects as the need arises.


• Research innovations and opportunities for expansion and implementation within the industry.

Requirement

• 5 - 8 years experience in Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry


• Strong understanding of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry and experience working in the sector.


• Highly numerate and analytical, preferably with a business bias.


• Modeling will be an added advantage.


• Market and regulation monitoring.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Excellent time management skills.


• Strong communication and influencing skills.


• Excellent analytical skills


• Ability to work on your initiative as well as within a team.


• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
