Job Description

• Maintaining inventory of packaging materials such as boxes, labels, tape, shipping supplies, etc.


• Inspecting products for damage during shipping to ensure that they arrived at their destination without spoiling or being damaged


• Packaging items such as products


• Preparing items for shipping by wrapping them in protective materials such as paper or plastic


• Creating labels for shipping containers such as boxes or crates.


• Operating machineries such as forklifts and conveyor belts to move packages between departments


• Organizing items in storage areas by type or size to make it easier to locate specific items quickly


• Performing other clerical tasks such as maintaining inventory records or filing shipping documents


• Labeling items with bar codes or other identifying information
