Qualification:

• Degree in Agricultural Economics, Crop production, Agronomy, Mass Communication, Statistics, Economics, Fisheries/Aquaculture, Geography, Media /Communication Arts, Development Studies, or relevant equivalents. Experience in programme implementation and community development is an added advantage but not compulsory. Analytical, problem solving, communication and writing skills are desirable. 

Key responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Project Manager/ Coordinators, the Intern shall be responsible for supporting the Programme teams in the following: 

• Planning the implementation of all programme activities


• Deployment of innovative digital solutions for the implementation of all program activities in the communities


• Support with dissemination of communication / visibility materials and activities


• Assist in the organization and preparation of project-specific biweekly meetings which includes preparation of biweekly reports and taking of minutes


• Data gathering, analysis and management for proper documentation of all project activities and reporting
