Perform the factory's equipment and facility maintenance operations and processes.
Carry out the repairs, installations and upkeep of various machinery, systems, buildings, offices and other facilities.
Follow maintenance procedures, carry out various maintenance activities, carry out inspection on all assets to find problems and make the necessary repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use.
Ensuring that all maintenance works and activities are in line with industry regulations and OSHA standards
Constantly develop new innovative to improve productivity and equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
Monitor asset performance and operation on shift and daily basis.
Inspect assets performance and operation on shift and daily basis.
Record the performance and operation of the assets using existing checklist.
Work with machine operators to resolve every machine malfunction.
Ensure operational efficiency of electrical and mechanical equipment through timely inspection and repair.
Ensure that factory premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
Adhere to workplace safety policies and standards.
Troubleshooting problems and issues that arise with machines and other assets and make necessary repair.
Execute the scheduling and assigning work orders and proactive maintenance tasks
Performing inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality.
Generate spare parts needed, advise on parts ordering.
Monitor parts inventory and carry out incoming inspection on all the engineering parts coming. to the store from suppliers.
Keep records of parts in the store and report stock level frequently.
Ensure and adhere to 5S rules in handling tools, work area and workshops.
Ensure and Adhere to GMP rules in the factory especially in handling tools, work areas and workshops.
Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
Requirements and Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Higher Diploma or National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance work and execution in foods and beverages company.
Excellent organizational skills and teamwork.
Attention to detail
Understanding of Quality Engineering standards and health & safety regulations
Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
Strong decision-making skills, solution driven and a results-driven approach
Knowledge in HACCP - OSHA - Lean manufacturing practices is a plus
Knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical principles.
Effective communication and fault troubleshooting skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to adjust to change in shift and work plan.
Readiness and Willingness to accept any other assignment request by his/her supervisor or manager.
