Job Duties



  • A Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales and all sales operations in the region.

  • The regional sales manager provides ongoing support to distribute product and provide service.

  • Additionally, the regional sales manager manages a sales team in the specified area.

  • Ensures profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of a supportive team.

  • Collaborating with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region

  • Managing a sales team in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals.

  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.

  • Assisting sales personnel in their techniques.

  • Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term

  • Educating sales team with the business objectives,presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings.

  • Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements.

  • Create sales goals for each store and communicate them to store management.

  • Evaluate metrics on specific product lines and instruct Managers to adjust inventory appropriately.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports and submit your findings and analysis to senior management.

  • Maximising sales and profitability.

  • Providing store sales team with a stimulating and supportive environment

  • Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service.

  • Driving team performance.

  • Serve as the point of contact with vendors, distributors and brokers in your region.

  • Inform senior management of any discrepancies or issues with sales team goals and results.


Knowledge / Experience

What specific knowledge/experience/qualifications are required for this role:


Qualification:



  • B.Sc in Marketing, Business, Retail Merchandising or a similar field of study.
