As a cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. Your role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized facility.


Responsibilities:



  1. Clean designated areas, including offices, common areas, restrooms, and other facilities, following established cleaning procedures and schedules.

  2. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and dust.

  3. Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and fixtures.

  4. Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.

  5. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.

  6. Refill restroom supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

  7. Clean and polish windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.

  8. Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.

  9. Maintain cleanliness in break rooms and kitchen areas, including cleaning appliances, countertops, and sinks.

  10. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and dusters.

  11. Follow proper safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  12. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor or facilities management.

  13. Follow established security protocols and ensure the security of premises and assets during cleaning activities.

  14. Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.

  15. Assist with organizing and maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment storage areas.

  16. Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure consistent cleanliness throughout the facility.

  17. Provide excellent customer service by responding to cleaning requests and addressing concerns promptly and professionally.


Qualifications:



  1. Previous experience in professional cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not mandatory.

  2. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.

  3. Familiarity with safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

  4. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.

  5. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving objects.

  6. Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

  7. Effective time management and prioritization skills to complete tasks within allocated timeframes.

  8. Good communication skills to interact politely and professionally with colleagues and customers.

  9. Reliability and punctuality in adhering to assigned work schedules.

  10. Flexibility to work during non-standard hours, such as evenings or weekends, if required.

  11. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
