Job Objective

• To stock materials received from vendors properly as to ensure easy access, identification, verification and handling.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Handle inbound stock and issuance of materials from the store and restocking of items accordingly


• Receive and inspect inbound materials, reconcile with purchase order and check for quality, quantity and damages or discrepancies and report to the Stock Manager


• Ensure that materials received are stored category-wise and stored in the appropriate locations.


• Maintain receipts, accurate inventory records and records of issuance of goods from the stockroom


• Ensure that the store is kept clean, organized and ensure that all materials are properly shelved and tagged to ensure they are easily located.


• Prepare LPO when required.


• Partake in periodic and annual stock count


• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies


• Perform any other functions requested by the Yard Stock Manager.

Job Specification

• Academic qualifications required is OND / NCE


• Minimum work experience required: 1-3 years.


• The ideal candidate should not be more than 30 years and must be knowledgeable about construction materials.


• Male Gender preferred.

Software Required Skills:

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel.
