Job Description
We are looking for a construction Project Manager to oversee and supervise all activities of our construction project from start to finish. You will be required to coordinate with other employees and personnel on the project requirements and ensure they are delivered on time and efficiently.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Supervise the construction project from start to finish.
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to understand the project details and requirements.
- Recruit personnel and contractors for the project as per requirements.
- Delegate tasks and assign responsibilities to personnel and ensure they are carried out.
- Monitor the performance of personnel on site and provide directions and feedback as and when required.
- Ensure resources are being used to the optimum to provide best results.
- Address any grievance of personnel.
- Report any discrepancies to superiors and implement effective and timely solutions.
Requirements:
- HND in Structural Engineering, Building sciences or relevant subjects.
- Project management professional certification or any equivalent qualification is an added bonus.
- Team player and collaborative nature.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of building permits, and construction procedures.
- Excellent computer knowledge with construction and project management software.
