- The Procurement officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company
Duties / Responsibilities
- Oversee all operations related to sourcing and purchasing
- Write reports on purchases made and perform cost analysis.
- Source for vendors and negotiate pricing contracts
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Coordinate with inventory officers to ensure proper storage
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND from a recognised institution
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Purchasing Officer especially in the hospitality industry
- Hands-on experience with procurement software.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
- Sound research and networking skills.
