Responsibilities



  • Market Research: Conducting market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and new business opportunities. This involves analyzing market data, competitor analysis, and staying up-to-date with industry news.

  • Lead Generation: Identifying and prospecting potential clients or customers through various channels, including online research, networking events, trade shows, referrals, and cold calling.

  • Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. This includes understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Proposal Development: Collaborating with internal teams (such as sales, marketing, and product development) to develop compelling proposals and presentations that align with client requirements and objectives.

  • Sales and Negotiation: Presenting products or services to clients, outlining the benefits and value propositions. Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing to secure new business deals and achieve sales targets.

  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing business development strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets, expand existing customer base, and achieve revenue goals.

  • Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to leverage resources, expertise, and support for business development initiatives. Coordinating with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Tracking and analyzing sales data, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and identify areas for improvement.

  • Networking and Industry Engagement: Building a strong professional network by attending industry conferences, seminars, and events. Actively participating in industry associations and forums to stay updated on the latest trends and developments.


Requirements and Skills



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or Masters in Marketing added advantage).

  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Results-oriented with a drive for achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tools.
