Job Summary
The Chief of Staff will be responsible for managing and coordinating high-level projects, providing strategic advice, and ensuring efficient operations throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Strategic Support:
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager to develop and execute strategic initiatives, including market expansion, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and market intelligence to inform decision-making processes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefing materials to support the GM in key meetings and presentations.
Project Management:
- Oversee and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project teams to achieve desired outcomes.
Operations Management:
- Streamline and improve operational processes across departments to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and resource allocation to drive profitability.
- Develop and implement performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on operational effectiveness.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a liaison between the General Manager and internal/external stakeholders, representing the GM's interests and ensuring effective communication.
- Prepare and coordinate executive-level communications, including emails, memos, and presentations.
- Facilitate communication flow within the organization, fostering a culture of transparency and information sharing.
Leadership and Team Development:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the executive team, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting professional growth and succession planning.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by participating in recruitment processes and conducting interviews when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (10 years) in a Chief of Staff, senior management, or strategic consulting role.
- Strong understanding of the gas industry, commercialization processes, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
