Position Overview:



  • As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by assisting clients in planning, organizing, and booking their travel arrangements.

  • Your expertise and knowledge of various destinations, travel options, and industry trends will be crucial in delivering personalized and memorable travel experiences to our valued clients.


Responsibilities:


Consultation and Itinerary Planning:



  • Engage with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements, and budget.

  • Provide expert advice on travel destinations, attractions, accommodations, transportation options, and travel packages.

  • Create customized itineraries tailored to meet the individual needs and preferences of clients.

  • Offer guidance on visa requirements, travel insurance, and necessary travel documents.

  • Collaborate with clients to ensure their travel plans align with their expectations and desires.


Booking and Reservations:



  • Utilize online reservation systems and travel industry software to book flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and other travel services.

  • Coordinate multiple travel components to create seamless travel arrangements for clients.

  • Negotiate with travel suppliers to obtain the best possible rates, discounts, and added benefits for clients.

  • Confirm bookings, issue tickets, vouchers, and all necessary documentation for clients.

  • Provide clients with detailed information regarding their bookings, including flight details, hotel check-in procedures, and travel policies.


Customer Service and Support:



  • Ensure exceptional customer service by promptly responding to client inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise before, during, or after travel.

  • Offer guidance and support to clients in the event of travel disruptions, cancellations, or emergencies.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest travel trends, industry news, and destination information to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients.

  • Build strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.

  • Collect feedback from clients to continually improve services and enhance customer satisfaction.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience working as a Travel Consultant or in a similar role.

  • In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, attractions, and industry trends.

  • Familiarity with online reservation systems and travel booking platforms.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a client-focused approach.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • Proficiency in using travel industry software and computer systems.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Multilingual skills (additional languages) are advantageous.
