Job Description



Job Purpose



  • To ensure Equipment availability and reliability for production activities in accordance with specified/ recommended guidelines, standard Work instructions and Maintenance schedules.

  • This is to enable delivery of target production volumes within specified Time, with optimized resource and at the right Quality.


Duties / Responsibilities



  • Execute preventive maintenance plan on assigned machine and equipment to ensure equipment availability and reliability.

  • Developing and implementing mechanical maintenance plan to prevent costly equipment breakdown.

  • Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdown as well as performing repairs.

  • Documenting processes and maintaining mechanical service record.

  • Ability to carry out maintenance task on Filling, capping and Labeling machines.

  • Initiating root cause analysis for permanent fixing of unplanned Downtime.

  • Optimizing mechanical efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings.

  • Maintaining 5S Standard in workplace.

  • Provide corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment to prevent failure.

  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts and component such as valves, pumps, and bearings.

  • Compliance to occupational health and safety/quality standards and good manufacturing practices.

  • Any other job assigned by the supervisor.


Education and Experience



  • B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 4 - 7 years experience in similar role in a similar role.

  • Job Location: Along Lagos Ibadan expressway. Close to Magboro or Mount of Fire Church. Ogun state.

  • Age Requirement: 28 - 35 years.


Required Skills / Abilities:



  • Team leadership skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Good teaming skills.

  • Creativity and an ability to think out of the box.

  • Proficiency in the use of office productivity tools.

  • Knowledge of gravity & pneumatic filling systems, & gassing operations.

  • Knowledge of Bottle filling packaging lines as well as factory safety.

  • Should have basic electrical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Structured Problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (callipers, micrometre etc.)

  • Understanding of Maintenance procedures.

  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear)

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
