Conduct thermal analysis on various components of a rocket system.
Release results as 'technical documents' after review by the senior members of the team.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of thermal hardware engineers.
Utilize the core competencies of thermal and fluid sciences, using and advancing analytical and experimental approaches to answer key questions about the performance and architecture of a system or component.
Make decisions in the areas of day to day project details, such as conducting analysis, testing, and communication with stakeholders that impact and support the successful progression of projects.
Provide independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still develop technology or product knowledge. engage with the improvement of systems and processes.
Support training mechanics, inspectors and various technical issues
Build specifications and direct configuration control for powerplant, systems and components
Assess test feed, boiler and service water
Manage log sheets and temperature records.
Maintain Power Plant and support maintenance personnel.
Coach employees and administer equipment and work area.
Control coal handling and ash conveying plant
Handle safety training programs
Monitor operating supplies delivery.
Requirements
Minimum education: HND or B.Eng.
We are targeting 20 years’ experience, with a minimum of 10 in Power plant operation and Maintenance.
COREN Registration is required
Thermal power plant experience is a must
Requires careful attention to detail.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
