An experienced Eatery Chef is currently needed to join our team and take charge of our kitchen. As an Eatery Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing meals that meet our high standards of quality and taste.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and develop menu items that meet customers' preferences and dietary requirements.
Prepare and cook meals in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure that all meals are presented in an appealing manner.
Monitor food supplies and order ingredients as necessary.
Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation techniques.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to create seasonal menus and specials.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new cooking techniques.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND qualification.
Proven experience as an Eatery Chef or similar role of 3 - 5 years.
Excellent knowledge of culinary arts and cooking techniques.
Proficient with Intercontinental and local dishes.
Ability to create and execute menus in a timely and efficient manner.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage a team and delegate tasks effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
