JOB SUMMARY


We are recruiting Human Resource Officers for FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must have a strong appreciation for processes, and must be willing to learn and support the administrative, business and analytical functions in FoodCo’s Human Resource.


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Understanding the full scope of FoodCo’s business activities, the company culture, and staffing/skill requirements.

  • Learning Nigeria’s labour laws, and regulatory responsibilities of employers, as it relates to Health Insurance,Tax and Pension.

  • Supporting the recruitment and selection of employees, by preparing Job descriptions, advertising, and managing the hiring process.

  • Helping to administer payroll, and maintain employee records in line with the company policy, and legal requirements.

  • Supporting the periodical review of Human Resource policies in the company, to ensure relevance, and compliance with best practices.

  • Helping to develop strategies and implement plans to meet current, and future staff requirements.

  • Helping to design and implement a performance management system, that promotes strong business outcomes.

  • Helping to on-board new recruits, designing and implementing an induction program.

  • Helping to design and implement a learning and development program, which aligns with the company’s growth strategy.

  • Dealing with staff welfare, grievances and disciplinary issues.


REQUIREMENTS



  • A Bachelor’s degree/ Higher National Diploma in any discipline

  • Minimum graduating GPA- second class lower/lower credit

  • 1-3 years post NYSC experience

  • Age limit- 30 years

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong I.T and numeracy skills

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Student/Associate membership of a Human Resource professional body is an added advantage.
