JOB SUMMARY

We are recruiting Quality Control Officers for FoodCo Nigeria Limited, a leading multichannel retail company in Nigeria. Interested applicants must have an educational background in Food Sciences and Technology, and possess excellent knowledge of health and safety standards in food production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Study  all the stages of  the production processes; from the raw material procurement process, to storage, production, and delivery of finished products to customers.


• Study existing quality control measures, help design and implement solutions to address any gaps discovered.


• Explain quality control methodologies to staff of relevant departments.


• Carry out quality assessment measures on all stages of the production process, to ensure conformity with laid down requirements.


• Remove and inform supervisor  of raw materials, and finished products that fall short of quality standards.


• Document the inspection process, this includes detailed reports and performance records.


• Resolve quality-related issues within stipulated deadlines.


• Recommend improvement measures to the production teams to ensure quality control standards are met.


• Design and administer surveys periodically, to monitor customer satisfaction levels.

 REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Food Science and Technology


• Minimum graduating GPA of second class lower


• 1-3 years post NYSC experience


• Age limit- 30 years 


• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Strong attention to detail


• Excellent documentation and presentation skills


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 


• Excellent knowledge of quality control standards
