Overview of Position



  • This role involves setting up and managing the B2B channel for ofi’s Dairy business in Nigeria. The role requires interaction with large scale end users who operate in the Dairy space and use Dairy ingredients in their products.

  • It requires skills in customer acquisition, key account management and helping the customer solve issues from an ingredient perspective.

  • The sales manager will be expected to do a complete market mapping of the B2B space, identifying key markets, players and defining the addressable market for us.

  • They will also be in charge of setting up a team to effectively address this segment.


Tasks/KRAs

Key Performance Matrices include:



  • Market mapping of the B2B segment

  • Identifying key players and markets. Defining the addressable space for ofi in this segment

  • Set up a sales network to effectively address customer needs in the B2B segment

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts

  • Negotiate and close agreements with big distributors.

  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. Forecasting and analysis of business/market trends

  • Undertake research activities and liaise with product development team to identify new product opportunities

  • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs


Skills and Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferably in the FMCG Industry).

  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in a managerial capacity.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and customer needs.

  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

  • Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and negotiation.

  • Experience in managing key accounts and building long-term client relationships.

  • Analytical skills to assess sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financials.

  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and willingness to learn new sales methodologies.
