Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop annual audit plan for the subsidiaries and submit to the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee for review and approval.
- Ensure conduction of country office audits to assess controls, operational efficiencies and compliance with selected policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensure work papers are adequately documented and audit evidence is sufficient.
- Elicit information from knowledgeable internal/external sources about areas and functions to determine appropriate audit direction/methodology.
- Research and keep abreast of legislative issues, new audit regulations/trends and audit methodology.
- Assist external auditors as appropriate. Coordinating country office's response to audit findings and recommendations.
Qualification and Experience:
- ACA or ACCA or CIA qualification
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 10-13 years professional experience with 3 years in core auditing and risk control
- Thorough understanding of the principles and application of business and operational risk and control processes and procedures.
- Balances the needs of the stakeholder triangle; assimilates and analyses relevant information
- Outstanding people leadership and management skills. Ability to drive change management across the organization.
