The main responsibilities of this role:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, promptly identifying their service needs.
- Consult with customers to gather relevant information about their vehicle concerns and accurately document their requirements.
- Provide knowledgeable advice and recommendations regarding vehicle maintenance, repairs, and available service options.
- Prepare accurate service estimates and ensure transparency in pricing and timelines.
- Coordinate with the service team to schedule appointments, allocate resources, and prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations.
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their service, including any delays or changes to the original estimate.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient completion of repairs.
- Upsell additional products and services that align with customer needs and the company's goals.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information .
- Follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any post-service concerns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience or similar role as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry .
- Solid understanding of automotive systems, parts, and repairs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple customer inquiries and service requests simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and automotive software applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- A team player with a positive attitude, who can also work independently.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends, as required.
