Responsibilities

• Safely operate a motor vehicle to transport passengers or goods to their destinations.


• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and responsible driving.


• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, including regular cleaning, fueling, and maintenance checks.


• Ensure passenger comfort and safety by following all safety protocols and providing excellent customer service.


• Plan and optimize driving routes to minimize time and fuel consumption.


• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from the vehicle, as needed.


• Handle and deliver goods or packages, ensuring their safe and timely delivery.


• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, mileage, and daily activities.


• Report any accidents, vehicle damage, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and supervisor.


• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with passengers, customers, and other road users.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license issued by the appropriate Nigerian regulatory authority.


• Proven experience as a driver, preferably with experience in Lagos or other densely populated urban areas.


• Good knowledge of Lagos road network and traffic regulations.


• Excellent driving skills, with a clean driving record.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required.


• Good physical stamina and ability to sit for extended periods and lift heavy objects, if necessary.


• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.


• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.


• High level of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.
